Information on Gimpo Airport
Gimpo Airport is 18.2km (11 miles) from downtown Seoul. Various transportation services are available, and with the exception of the deluxe taxis, their fares are relatively inexpensive.
Visitors can fly between Seoul and 13 major cities of Korea from the domestic terminal in Gimpo Airport. It takes at most about 1 hour to fly to any of 13 cities.
* Now Gimpo Airport serves the domestic air transportation exclusively, while Incheon International Airport(IIA), opened on March 29, 2001, functions as the international airport in Korea.
